Carpet Cleaning Advice
We professionally clean and maintain carpeting of all types - woven and tufted, rugs and soft floor coverings. We also clean all types of upholstery fabrics and finishes including drapes and pelmets. We work with floor coverings, hard, smooth and resilient. All our processes are carried out with industry approved cleaning methods for domestic and commercial contexts. We have a wide range of commercial clients, from nursing and care homes, hotel and retail through to office space. We use industrial cleaning fluids which are subject to ongoing design and development keeping our service to the best possible standard. Our cleaning products can destroy dust mites and bacteria and are effective against MRSA, viruses including Hepatitis B and HIV, fungi, algae and mildew. CARING FOR YOUR CARPETS: CLEANING TIPS AND ADVICE Entrance Mats: Use entrance mats to reduce the amount of dry soil brought onto your carpet. As much as 80% of the dirt and grit in your carpets is walked in from shoes. Vacuuming: Regular vacuuming will help prevent wear and damage to carpet and fabrics from abrasive dry soil and grit. PROFESSIONAL CLEANING BY CARPET CLEAN Periodically have your carpet and upholstery cleaned to prolong their life and to ensure their cleanliness for longer. This includes professional soil extraction. SPILLS Blot spills immediately with a clean white terry towel or tissue. The quicker you attend to a spill the easier it is to remove. Avoid rubbing or brushing which may make the stain worse and cause fibre damage. Always work toward the centre of the spill to avoid spreading. If the stain is still present call us for help. Cover gloss paint with cling film to prevent drying until help arrives. Don’t lift or roll the carpet, rub the stain, apply heat to dry, use detergents or other solutions. The first technique applied to a stain has the best chance of removing it. If the wrong technique or product is used this limits any further attempts made to remove the stain. If it is then left to dry this will have a fastening effect creating a dye stain some of which are impossible to remove. GREAT OFFER! SOIL Fibres are coated with a protective barrier that reduces adhesion of dry soil allowing easier removal when vacuuming helping to reduce wear. STAINS Stain blocker technology which helps release and prevent staining. SPILLS Penetration of liquids is reduced making spills easier to remove before they have time to get deep into the fibres. OILS Invisible fluoro-polymers repel oily soils such as cooking fats, grease, hair and body oils. HARD FLOOR COVERINGS We clean any type of hard floor, scrub strip, apply appropriate rinse and polish as well as high speed burnish for old polish dressings.
